About
Molly Reusser (b. 1995, Kirkland, Washington) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Everett, Washington. In 2014 she majored in sculpture at San Francisco Art Institute and later studied 3D animation at Academy of Interactive Entertainment, Seattle. Her current practice incorporates mainly stone, watercolor, and wool. She is best known for color curated soft sculptures, labyrinthine stones polished to a glistening finish, and intuitively made dream-like paintings and illustrations.
Reusser’s work explores her perspective as a neurodivergent woman, finding intrigue and madness amidst breathtakingly beauty and patriarchal techno autocracy. Her practice is characterized by a tactile sensitivity to materials, a vivid and often surreal visual language, and a never-ending experimental quest to create meaning in her life.
